The beautiful parts of cities are...well, beautiful. But then there's the quirky, weird, kitschy, personal side. You can find a bit of that in North Paris, where I'm staying this trip. It feels a bit more like large parts of NYC-- some parts even feel a bit like that dodgey block on 41st between 9th and 10th.
