The new Sia "
We Are Born
" is a perfect summer album. Just the right amount of bubble-gummy mixed with the fact that Sia is nobody's pop princess, even if she does reeeeally like pink. I just wanna strut the NYC sidewalks in short shorts and platforms, which is exactly what I did this morning.
Other fun things about this album
1. The cover of Madonna's "
Oh, Father
." It's a very different song when Sia does it.
2.
"Never Gonna Leave Me-" if the theme song from "
The Office
" were a pop song. Seriously. Check it.
Sia certainly has a unique sensibility. I've never seen a video of hers that was less than totally weird, and this one is no exception. I love it.
Listen, and feel wacky.
