I'll spare you any scenes of Nicole Kidman as Virginia Woolf. I'm still baffled how her 24 minutes of film got her this Oscar. But I hear where good old Ed Harris is coming from...and, as it has been since the day I first heard it, the Indigo Girls song is le mot juste.

Today Feels Like This- Virginia Woolf & The Hours
I'll spare you any scenes of Nicole Kidman as Virginia Woolf. I'm still baffled how her 24 minutes of film got her this Oscar. But I hear where good old Ed Harris is coming from...and, as it has been since the day I first heard it, the Indigo Girls song is le mot juste.

Why Stop Now?
Good luck with the dissertation ... I remember the feeling of getting it out of my hands--surreal bliss. (Confession: even though we never got to meet in St A's, I still read your blog longingly, as we've moved back to NYC from Scotland. I now need a hurricane as an excuse to wear my wellies and Barbour. :)
