I love this rare footage of Paul McCartney singing "Blackbird." I love when he messes up & that the photographer chose to film Paul's shoes most of the video. Part of why I still have a record player is I like how real records sound. That they recorded an actual moment, vs. being the best take and split take of who knows how many instruments and faux sounds.
I love that on "Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay," you can hear Otis's fingers on the frets. The moments where you can hear the fingers on the frets are rare in this world of modernity. Everything's clean and sterile, but I think I like things a little more grainy.
Goodnight!
